Try Soffio free for 14 days before you buy, with every feature and no card. If you buy and it is not right for you, you get your money back.

The 14-day refund

You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason or none. We do not ask why, although we are glad to hear it.

This applies to everyone, wherever you live, and it is on top of the free trial.

How to ask

Write to support@getsoffio.app from the email address you bought with, or reply to your Polar receipt. Include your order number if you have it. We start the refund within 3 working days.

Polar, our reseller, sends the money back to the card or payment method you used. You get back what you paid, including tax. Your bank may take 5 to 10 working days to show it.

What happens to your licence

A refund ends the licence. The key is revoked, and at its next licence check Soffio returns to the "not licensed" state: dictation and command mode stop. Please deactivate your Macs and delete the app.

Your history, dictionary, snippets and settings stay on your Mac. Nothing is deleted.

After 14 days

After 14 days we refund at our discretion. If Soffio does not work on your Mac and we cannot fix it, write to us anyway. Polar may also refund a purchase on its own within 60 days to settle a dispute (Polar refunds).

Discounts and upgrades

If you bought at a launch price or with a discount, the refund is the amount you actually paid. A paid upgrade to a future major version has its own 14-day refund.

This policy does not limit rights you have under the law where you live.

EU and UK consumers. For digital content, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase. At checkout you are asked to agree that the download and licence are provided at once, and that you then lose this right of withdrawal. Our 14-day refund gives you the same 14 days anyway, with no questions. If Soffio does not work as described, your legal right to a fix, a price reduction or a refund also applies, at any time the law allows.

Other consumer laws (for example in Canada, Quebec or Australia) may give you rights when a product is faulty. They apply too.

Chargebacks

Please write to us before you open a dispute with your bank. A refund is faster for you, and a chargeback costs us a fee even when it is resolved. A chargeback ends the licence in the same way as a refund.
